In 2009 we visited the country of Georgia for the first time.
Besides visiting the capital Tbilisi, we visited the Racha region and the coastal town of Kobuleti.
This holiday formed the basis for many visits to the country!

In 2011 I came to Georgia for the second time. For me this was the beginning of four years of traveling up and down as often as I could. Not only was I in love with the country with its unlimited possibilities, but Cupid was also a great motivator for my many trips to Georgia!

In the summer of 2012 I started 6 months of study followed by 6 months of internship in Tbilisi. I enjoyed the beautiful life there for 1 year and traveled a lot in Georgia, learned the language and built a large network during my internship and my time at the university.

In 2015 I got married in Georgia, from now on I really had one leg in Georgia, not only my great love for the country but also a family there. Around this time Jelmar and I already started brainstorming to do something in Georgia. The country offers so much potential and we wanted to do something with it.

After getting to know Georgia as a holiday destination, I moved to Tbilisi in 2016. For my studies I could spend six months in the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi!
During my period in Georgia I got to know the everyday life, local spots in Tbilisi and the very beautiful nature!
I wanted to share everything this country has to offer with others. That’s why I made a concept for a travel agency, specialized in Georgia; TRAVELDASH!

When I returned to the Netherlands in 2017, I started developing TRAVELDASH. Finally, in 2018 I wrote my graduation research on “Unique winter sports holidays in Georgia”, one of the different holidays that we offer nowadays!
In the summer of 2018, TRAVELDASH became reality on August 8!
With this initiative we want to offer unique and adventurous travel, made possible together with our loyal local partners!
2019 was a great year with great trips and fantastic guests. Varying from day trips to multi-day group trips and guests from all over the world!

2020 promised to be a fantastic year with more group bookings, more specialistic trips and an comprehensive exploration trip. The planning of the various trips already started in the last quarter of 2019. In the first week of March we went skiing with a group of Dutch people. But when we got home, we quickly realized things were going in the wrong direction. Although Georgia seemed to be little affected by the new virus, they closed their borders preventively.
Although 2020 was a disaster, in many aspects, we hope to ‘just’ plan beautiful trips and create special adventures in 2021!
